Bling Du Rouet is currently one of the colourful members of the Kirrawae team. He is sired by the showjumping star Balou du rouet and out of a Knabstrupper cross mare, a stunning and unique combination. Bling inherited the best of both worlds, he is an exceptionally friendly character with a quirky personality. He is one of the most placid stallions we have at Kirrawae Park and is often handled and ridden by experienced children. Bling loves nothing more than to be fussed over and just relax, second only to his desire to jump! We don’t have a horse more determined or courageous than our little man Bling. Nothing phases this pocket rocket, with a point and shoot attitude Bling is proving to be a phenomenal shojumping prospect. Bling is definitely a favourite here at KPE. His charming nature and outstanding ability have captured the hearts of us all. We are very excited to have such a special boy in our stable combining the jumping ability of his father with the stunning colouring of his mother we have bred a new and exciting class of performance horse. Our blingy boy is now also 7 and titled Regional Champion with 51 points. He and his young rider (aged 14) have such a beautiful partnership and are successfully competing in the 1.10-15m classes. Bling is one special dude, he is the only one of our full sized stallion to be ridden and competed by a child rider. He has a personality and ride-ability to die for. We hope Bling will be the ambassador for the Knabstrupper sport horse and we hope to see more like him around the community.
